Brown Crab
The Brown Crab (Cancer Pagurus) lives only along the coasts of Europe. It feeds mainly on little fishes, crustaceans and shellfish, like mussels, crashing the shell with its powerful claws. The carapace can reach a maximum size of 20cm of length and 30cm of width.
Our Brown Crab is caught in Denmark, along the West coast of Jutland. The fishing is by pots, a fishing gear highly selective and at very low environmental impact. Once caught, the Brown Crab is delivered alive, in the same day, to the factory where starts the processing and cooking.
