Scallop

The scallop (Pecten maximus) is a particularly valuable bivalve mollusc, suitable for the finest dishes.
It has a delicate flavour and is rich in minerals.
The scallop from Aloia Foods is mainly offered half-shell with roe, but the meat without roe is also available in trays.

Origin: France and England.

Size:
• half shell in 3kg boxes
• 10-12 units per kg
